You will need:
a set of cork coasters
acrylic paint
a paintbrush
washi/masking tape
Tape off the section that you would like to paint. Paint this blocked off section with two or three coats of acrylic paint (with a few minutes of drying time between each coat). Let it dry for a few minutes before removing tape. Once the section is fully dry, tape over it if you would like to paint right next to it and create a new section. Block and paint until you are happy with your coasters!
We have a glass table in our living room so we do get water stains from our glasses quite often. Maybe these coasters will save me from a few stains?
*For those living in Denmark, everything used in this project can be bought at Søstrene Grene.
I love the idea of making plain old cork coasters pretty and so individual.... Might try it one day :)
