Although I am on Strøget quiet often, I have never seen the Royal Guards march through the shopping street as they make their way to Amalienborg Palace. Until yesterday that is! Everyday at noon, the Royal Guards march from Rosenborg Castle to Amalienborg Palace where the royal family resides. I caught them at Købmagergade by Illum, just as they were about to turn onto Strøget. It was fun to see them march down the street next to people who are going about their day and doing their shopping.
It is getting warmer and the sun has been shining in Copenhagen the last few days. I'm working on some mochi ice cream that I'm hoping to share with you in the next day or two. I hope you've been having a great week so far!
