While we were in Leeds, my sister took the fiance and I out for a walk down to Kirkstall Abbey. Kirkstall Abbey is a ruined monastery located just a few kilometers from the city. It was interesting walking through and reading about the monks' lives in the Abbey and how it transformed through the years. It must have been quite a sight when the entire Abbey was still standing.
