Our sweet friend C was in Stockholm this past weekend and I had just found out that there was a Ladurée boutique there, so C was incredibly nice and brought a few macarons back to Copenhagen for me. We shared a few last night and I'm looking forward to eating the last two.
What are your thoughts on macarons? I just can't get enough of them! And I am not necessarily just loyal to Ladurée, it's just that I've been in Paris the last two years and their locations are a bit easier to find than Pierre Hermé. I try macarons in Copenhagen as well. I have tried the ones from Meyers and Brasserie Degas, and I'm hoping to try one from Strangas soon. I've also made macarons twice now, the first time was a total flop but this last time around, they actually looked and had the texture of a macaron! I may have to give it another go sometime soon. When I am really happy with the results, I'll have to share the recipe I use with you!
